Kia ora, I’m Talya
Based in Christchurch, New Zealand, I’ve been working as a graphic designer for over sixteen years. I specialise in branding, print media, packaging, and custom illustration.
I genuinely love to work alongside my clients, building lasting relationships, solving complex visual problems, and delivering final products that aren't just beautiful, but eloquent and purposeful too.

We’ll start by diving deep into your goals. Before a single line is drawn, I make sure I fully understand your target market, your timeline, and what success looks like for your business. If I am stepping into a Design Lead role, this is where we align on team dynamics and scoping.
2. Open, Direct Communication
When you hire me, you work directly with me. No account managers, middlemen, or details lost in translation. I’ll keep you completely in the loop from initial concepts to final sign off, so you always know where things stand and why decisions are being made.
3. Concept Development & Refining
I’ll take your brief and translate it into bold, practical visual solutions. I present clear creative directions, and then we’ll work collaboratively to refine the details and final product, until everything feels completely right.
4. Flawless Delivery
Design needs to perform in the real world. I’ll deliver final assets that fit exact industry production standards, whether that means sending pixel-perfect responsive web assets to a developer, or providing press ready packaging files that sit perfectly within a printer's dieline templates.
